Abe Alberts is a 21 year old artist from Wisconsin who has come onto the music scene just recently known as the stage name “Homeworld”. The alt pop and hip hop artist makes some really unique music unlike anything we’ve heard before. This couldn't be more evident than on his latest project the “The Uppercase Files”.

“The Uppercase Files” Artwork

At a first glance the artwork of the project catches the eye of the listener right away. Featuring the artist himself and some vibey building scenery it sets the mood for the project as whole. Homeworld created the artwork on top of the project as well.

The EP which runs just about 20 minutes is solid from top to bottom. Featuring catchy choruses on tracks like “Upside” and “With Me” “The Uppercase Files” is a must listen to from top to bottom. The project is never too much and it keeps a constant chill cadence throughout leaving behind a smooth listen for the audience.

My favorite track on the project is “Upside” (feat. Trust’N) because of the smooth vibes and killer second verse by the well known Madison hip hop artist Trust’N. This collaboration between Homeworld and Trust’N couldn’t have been drawn up any better. The track begs to be on repeat. The two artists also released a music video for the track here:

After an outstanding project “The Uppercase Files” featuring one of hip hop’s hottest artists right now Trust’N, who is verified on Instagram and has racked up millions of streams, Homeworld seems to be on the up and you can’t really deny that.

Homeworld and Trust’N

This project really sets the tone for Homeworld moving foward and we are excited to see what the young talent does next.
