Atlanta-Based Artist Chris Pop On The Rise With New Release
The opportunity for originality flows uniquely from each individual. For Chris Pop, creativity was second nature. The Nigerian-American artist began creating music in 2012 while he was attending art school. His wavy, visual vibe encourages his audience to shift their viewpoints, growing their mindsets to become the best versions of themselves.
Growing up south of Atlanta, Pop was influenced by a wide range of cultures. “My family is Nigerian born. I think the variety of cultures I grew up with majorly informs my creativity,” the up-and-coming artist says. His music appreciation was sparked from fond childhood memories, and he wants his listeners to feel the same way, sent back to a specific memory from the opening chords of a song.
From working with producers like Dreamlife across the globe, Chris Pop is looking to expand his horizons. His new song, “Voyage,” is available now, and he is currently working on his new song “Prada.” Be on the lookout for future projects from this creator on the rise.
