KEL- Hope You Know (feat. Joe Saan)
Kansas City R&B/HipHop artist KEL just released a new song titled “Hope You Know” featuring Joe Saan. The track, lasting almost 4 minutes, features a beautifully and well written harmony over a bed of synths and samples.
When we got a chance to speak to KEL he said “I wrote this song talking about how much a person can mean to you and how much you feel for this person but you know that you can never reach that point. I’ve had a pretty rough year and this song is kind of a combination of everything that has happened throughout the year.”
The track captures just that feeling. The almost nostalgic vocals by both KEL and his feature Joe Saan set the mood right from the opening seconds of the track.
What I liked most about the track was how the two artists’ voices melded together. In today’s age so many artists throw on a feature without even thinking about how the their voices fit together. KEL made sure to pay attention to detail on this track and knocked that category out of the park.
The upcoming artist recently became a member of Lost Boy Entertainment which is an up and coming record label founded by the well known and award winning artist hip hop artist Trust’N.
With the impressive sound of “Hope You Know” and his newly acquired management team we are super excited to see what more KEL will be doing in the future.
