JaYen

A very recent start in music has not stopped New Jersey based artist JaYen. He started music in 2019 after college when he discovered a passion and talent. He began recording and releasing tracks shortly after that. This was primarily influenced by JaYen’s brother, also an artist. Also JaYen has spent time as a photographer who has worked for several people in the industry, including Juice WRLD. Currently, though as an independent artist, JaYen records his own music and typically works with 2 to 3 engineers out of New York on the mixing and producing side.

Jayen’s new wave of releases will push this young artist to the next level. Notably, his single called “Doing Good” and a music video for hit single “Coma.” JaYen also showcases his talents in a cover of “Greece by Drake.” His music is defined by a distinct melodic and atmospheric sound.

JaYen tackles a wide variety of topics in his music, such as mental health struggles. A purposeful message in an artist’s music often correlates to what an artist wants listeners to take away from their music. JaYen revealed in a personal interview that “I want people to feel relieved that someone out there feels their struggles and [share the message that] you have to take life day by day.”
