Producer Bader Yousef, Professionally Known As B.Y. Puts Passion Forward In New Album “Scrapped”
Growing up in a science-inclined environment, Bader Yousef, professionally known as B.Y., couldn’t seem to find his niche. The university student broke the barriers when he announced that he was bound to the multimedia and design program at Carleton University; yet, he soon discovered that it wasn’t his true passion. Soon after, a close friend introduced him to producing and mixing music, B.Y. instantly felt that was for him.
His newly-developed passion quickly led to an impressive resume. From working as an audio technician at local music festivals to helping set up Snoop Dog’s show with his team, B.Y. established his name in the industry. He recently released his produced album “Scrapped,” which features artists and producers Dylan King, Jerey B, Blank Theory, Lini, and more. It is currently available on all major platforms.
The project had been in the works for almost two years, and it showcases B.Y. and his team’s struggles, successes, and life stories. “People do not realize the amount of time and work it takes to finish a record, imagine a whole album,” B.Y. says. “It was made to represent the complexity of human emotions and what the power of collaboration in music can look like. In the end, all the hard work pays off.”
